About 6 months ago, I replaced a defective relay (solenoid), and broke open the starter relay open. It was built like any other relay, it had bigger contacts and bigger switch.
Sorry guys--I tried to cut that solenoid in half and it just fell apart. I still have one I can disect. Ill have to come up with a better way to open her up so I can get good pics.
Hey guys,
I am very new to this forum, and know just enough "mechanic"-ing to be dangerous (as evidenced by my further info...).
I replaced my 1976 F-250 (390cc) fender-mount solenoid due to it not cranking, and I think I hooked it back up wrong. It would only click before (weak/bad battery), but after replacing the fender-wall solenoid, it doesn't do anything! And there are no lights (or action, or camera for that matter), and no power to anything.
It looks just exacly like the one in the pic (thanks Mr. Mil1ion!). Can someone explain or point me to a wiring diagram that will tell/show me what wires go to what terminals?
Thanks in advance...
