Header Question:Shorty headers worth it?
I've heard conflicting results. Some folks have told me not to even bother, others have said they are worth it. I would like to see what you guys think.
I have a 1994 F-150 302, with a cat back dual pipe system I don't plan on replacing. So long tube headers are out of the question. What kind of gains should I expect if I replace the stock manifolds with a set of shorty headers? Is it worth it? Also, any brands you would recommend or ones to stay away from? How much of a benefit does a ceramic coating bring to the equation?
