F150 Painted Bezel Inserts
I have a 2006 F150 Lariat Supercrew with chrome packaging. There's this guy in my hometown with a truck exactly like mine except his is that champagne color instead of my traditional black. Anyway his truck looks really sharp because he had these painted inserts that cover up the black plastic mirrors that fit nice and flush against the chrome cap and also painted inserts for his door handles hubs. I was wondering if anyone knew of a company or a magazine where I can purchase such inserts. It would be a nice touch especially since I just bought my tonneau cover.
Also I've been eyeing up these wire mesh grilles for the F150 like those Cadillac cars but they're like $400. Also I've been thinking about the billet grille and I've seen those for about $200. Any suggestions on these grilles?

For your door handles and mirrors they sell putco covers for them you can search some of the site sponsors I belive they carry them, also Ebay has them everywhere. Or if you were wanting color matched door handles you can always look into the Lincoln Mark LT,s door handles. They should be a direct swap and come with a color matched bucket (if you own a F150 in the 3 or so colors they offor the LT in) and a chrome handle. I think you can pick them up for around 275.00 and up, it will be a little bit more if you goto the dealership.

I checked out the Putco website but all they offered was all chrome. Then I checked Ebay and it was the same thing. I want the colored ones because I think too much chrome is a bad thing. I was hoping for an insert but replacing the whole handle sounds difficult. Is it and do you have any other alternatives?

That's what I'm looking for and I already spoke with the salesperson and he quoted me $224.95 for 4 painted bezel inserts. I would have to get one for my tail gate handle which he is checking up on right now but also looking into the covers for the underpart of my mirrors. You know how on the chrome packaging the top cap of the mirror is chromed and the bottom bracket is black plastic. Well I want those painted too. Anyone else know of any quality website? I appreciate all the feedback. Thanks.
