1st Meeting

We go to be thinking about our 1st official meeting...anyone got any ideas on where to have it...doesn't have to be fancy....even if it's a picnic lunch in a parking lot! Or as fancy as a sit-down dinner in a nice eating place....it's now your Chapter....all ideas are welcome. Please remember it should be central to all members to get most members to attend.

Please email/pm your responses to Tractor Boy as well as here in our own State Chapter forum. He has to find a public computer (library) to use while his is out od service, so he may not get right back to you. Have patience, he'll respond even if I have to get him here to my place to do it.

Waldorf/Bowie is about a central area to me, that is a 2hr. drive from southern St. Mary's. Sucks being on the southern tip of Maryland for meets like these. Just let me know though, don't really mind driving.

Apple Ford in Columbia is hosting a car show this weekend at the UPS terminal here in town. Guess it's too short notice for a gtg but thought you-all would like to know. Will post more info tomorrow.

Hate to have that gas bill I have traveled all up and down the East Coast for meets when I was in the TTORA (Toyota Tacoma) club. So no worries, I only have 16k miles on the truck after 14 months, no problem with racking them up.

Oh SHOOT!!! T/B was supposed to tell everyone it was for brunch...10:30- 11:00 AM until.....last person leaves! Bring cameras....and your girl-friend (s), wives, kids...boy friend(s)...signifcant other!!

We are also gonna have an official vote for offices at this meeting, so we at least need a quaram to be legal. As time is so short, we will have to nominate people for offices.....Hopefully, T/B will let us know what offices HAVE to be filled.

We will as soon as T/B tells me which Bob Evans it is.... Pasadena is usually less 's just crowded tho. 8051 Ritchie Hwy, Pasadena, MD. It's just north of Jumpers Hole Rd on Northbound side. From the north and west take MD Rt 100 to Rt 2 S. exit (Ritchie Hwy towards Severna Park), there is a crossover almost in front of Bob Evans. If you get to traffic signal you went too far, reverse direction at the light...left lane.

If from the south/east, north on MD Rt 2 (Ritchie Hwy) to Pasadena. It's just north of Jumpers Hole Rd light.
