Any body have this set up.. Doing a 400 build and went with the "Ready to Run" unit. It does away with stock module and does not need any other ignition parts. Everything is internal, hook up three wires and your done so the directions say.... Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with this rig..
Yeah, that's all you do. Just make sure you've got a good coil and it'll rock. I've got one in my Cleveland and I noticed a huge improvement in starting and upper RPM perf.
looked at your site and you claim the dui is the only hei system for ford. Wondering what you mean as i have a pro-comp sitting on my kids wheezer and a no-name backup for my 400. TMI sells 2 types of hei distributors for the 400. I might go with your durasprk replacement- the retard at startup seems to be important to the wheezer-
do you have the wiring harness for a 77 duraspark system?
