I have heard a bit about this "X-plan" and I have heard that it is offered to people who are 'coming over' from a different type of vehicle manufacturer. I have a Tacoma now, and I am looking to buy a Ranger. Would I qualify for this 'X-plan'?
Also, does anyone know what kind of deal employees get on their vehicles? Are the deals better then the "X-plan" or worse?
The X-Plan is available to Ford Partner companies and organizations. Ford employees can give out 4 PIN numbers per year to family/ extended family members. I have heard the same rumor about people "changing over" being elegible for the X-Plan but have not found any tangible info on that rumor in my research so far. Employees are elegible for A-Plan Pricing. The X-Plan is 4% over A-Plan Pricing. The X-Plan price comes out somewhat below published invoice price. Some dealerships do not charge delivery, setup, etc. on X-Plan vehicles either.
I am VERY interested in using the X-Plan as I will be changing over from a C3500 to a SuperDuty very soon.
Please let me know if you find out how "change-over" customers can take advantage of the Plan.
