The 6.0 is gone. It was a tough decision but, since selling the tractor, 16' foot trailer being stolen, and the increased need (grandkids) for a people hauler...I traded the old girl in for a...well...er....uh....'07 Suburban 4x4. A very nice ride and obviously quite different from the BIG dawg F-250.
The existing trade value window, before it drops, and the fact that a local dealer is liquidating (selling his prime property location for condo / office complex) I felt the need to do the deal now. Couldn't wait for the Expy EL to hit the streets and for the pricing to go down.
I am still paying for my daughter's '05 Escape so I suppose I still qualify as a Ford truck owner but, regardless...remain a Ford Truck Enthusiast.
So, while I am in a tolerable mood...flame on boys....but, be gentle...I am already pretty bruised up from the beating my local buddies have given me and my daughters have never known me without a pick-up truck. They are in a state of shock.
Ya know Keith, there was a full moon very recently so the cosmic rays may have affected your judgement.
No flames from me, I'm confident you're still a Ford Truck lover at heart. Of course, the first time you have a hint of an issue with your bowtie, you'll be cussing a blue streak.
Keith,
I have alot of respect for you so I wont rib you.
At least not right now, until the shock of poor judgement wears off. You must be in quite a downer right now. If not, I'm sure you will be when reality sets in. So I'll be gentle. But I have to ask,
WHAT THE HEQQ WERE YOU THINKIN'?!!!!!!
...It boiled down to the needs of the many outweighed the needs of the few...or especially in this case.....the needs of the one.
BTW: 4 weeks ago I did try to deal on a '06 Expy Limited 4x4 (only one in the DFW area that wasn't black or over $ 50K) and the dealer wouldn't deal...it is still on his lot. So I did try to stay TRUE BLUE...even though the cargo area wouldn't have really suited my needs.
Well, at least you tried my friend. I'm sure you will remain moderator. Right? I know you are very much a Ford Truck guy so don't anticipate things changing. Besides, I'm sure you'll come back to your senses eventually.
