what a day

Well, managed to bury my Bronco, and charlie went off and sunk the front end of his rig. That wasnt too bad, we could have got out, but it would have taken forever. Getting stuck wasnt the bad part, the bad part was being pulled out by 2 Heeps. The pulled his out pretty quick, he was only halfway in the hole, but it took both of the jeeps spinning in 4 low with their lockers on to pull me. Now If that didnt set the weeked off, I rolled the 450r...........twice. Once sideways on a hill, didnt hurt it. The other time, I was goofing on the pavement, pulled the front while I was pinned in 3rd and found out first hand that the rear left was flat big time. Yanked it to the left and I bailed, it went end over end twice, broke my fender, bend my front left rim up, and kinked my bars down. All in all it was a good weekend though. Anybody else got some stories of the weekend?

My weekend has been totally uneventfull, just basically sitting and relaxing after last weekend. Basically I washed the ranger up, did my compression test, ran some water through it to clean up the carbon in the combustion chambers and basically started getting it ready for the winter tear down. And I did some work on my Biodiesel processor to stop a leak and all this has taken my 2-1/2 days, so you know I am not straining myself.
Well I did some online shopping checking out new parts for when I can finally afford to start on the new 572 for the ranger, and on the stuff I plan on replacing over the winter, like stall convertor, rear suspension, gears, and springs to lower the front end another 3".
So all in all it's abeen a sit on my tail and not do much type of weekend just to recover from last weekend.

Oh wait I did get to have some fun, I got a chance to show Ivan some pictures of some new bling parts making him want to spend money again. Man I love spending other peoples money for them.

Man, now all the more reason to do gears and lockers and through on some big meats after some fendor trimming or a lift, and of coarse some engine work, right?.

I wish I had a story to tell of the weekend, but it's been to long since the last rain... no mud anywhere.

Laugh it up Rob. I already called one of my CC's to see if they'll up my limit. If you go 572 I'll have to go 604. I hate to do it . . . but you know how it goes.

Not a problem Ivan, as you know I am going 18 bolt A460 heads, guess that means your going to have to up it to A441 heads now, hope they upped that limit a LOT<a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fwww.smileycentral.com%252F%253F partner%253DZSzeb008%255FZNxdm824BXUS%2526i%253D4% 252F4%255F2%255F105%2526feat%253Dprof/page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_2_105.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%253A%252F%252Fimgfarm%252Ecom%252Fimages%252F nocache%252Ftr%252Ffw%252Fsmiley%252Fsocial%252Egi f%253Fi%253D4%252F4_2_105/image.gif"></a>

Just noticed this morning, (couldnt see it through the mud) that I bashed the driver side front bumper in a good 4 inches. It's ok though, just pushing me to get my bumpers done.

Well, I got my explorer buried in the mud last night. I was just screwin around in some mud north of town and was goin through it and the damn thing just stopped and slid into a rut. We ended up having to get my buddy out there with his f-150 in 4 low and 5 guys to get the little explorer out of the mud.

Stupid stock truck with open diffs.

Yeah, but the truck is supposed to be my reliable daily driver. I told myself that I would not mod this vehicle. Well, aside from the manual locking hubs and electric cooling fan that is. lol
