Welcome to the Ga chapter. I hope we have one in the near future. We do not have a particular date planned but hopefully your post will get the wheels turning. When we do have one I look forward to meeting you.
If we have it where we can have a fire going I've got wood. I wish we could have it here but the city is not finished tearing my yard up yet. One good thing I am getting out of this is lots more parking space. I got a huge driveway crossing my creek now. That will help bigtime in the event we have a gettogether here.
I hope we can have one before December. Not only does it have the potential to get very cold but I have a granddaughter on the way in early december. I will be very busy at this time. Plus in late december my family may take a trip to fort lauderdale to visit one of my stepdaughters.
I have been searching our options. I am thinking November 11th at Charlie Elliot Wildlife Center would be the best option. It is pretty close to being a central area. It is convenient to I-20. I hope this is a good date for everyone. If not we will have to explore other options because I am kinda working this inbetween deer hunting dates because the camp area is full when the WMA is open to deer hunting.
Camping is free first come first serve basis. They have primitive camping only.
If you want to fish you have to have a fishing liscence and wma stamp. I don't recommend bothering with the fishing I have never had any luck there.
To get to CEWC, take I-20 to Exit 98. Go south on Highway 11, travel through Mansfield and continue three miles south to the entrance at Marben Farms Road on the left. I will try to get some directions up from other areas. If anyone wants my cell number incase they get lost PM me. Here is the website. http://www.georgiawildlife.com/conte...=315&txtPage=1
