Inconsistent boost??

I have my stroker, 6637, predator, full 4-inch ect. Ever since I put the predator on on long hard acceleration pulls it seems to almost have a surge. Since I've put gauges on it would actually drop boost from 26-27 down to 21-22 lbs. Not the turbo surge with noise but almost a "bog" but it would drop and pick up. I haven't been driving it much but I now notice that I can't build over 20 lbs on the 85 h.p. tune on the predator. It shows just about the same on the pyro and runs SOTP, the same but I can't find any leaks for my gauge. Do you suppose it is a wastegate issue? Or does anyone else have this problem with a 6-speed and a predator? Just noticed the new smileys

You are probably defueling. They are set to cut off the fuel above 24 psi.
Get the boost pressure regulator from ITP diesel. No better way to control what the MAP sees at any price.
I can consistantly maintain 26 psi with my wastegate connected and functioning pulling a big hill with the trailer.
Unloaded it hardly ever goes over 18, but I am not surprised. With 4.88's in the rear I've run out of RPM before the turbo has a chance to spool up, even in OD.
