ReAX, what did you do with the stock driving lights that came on the truck? I'm trying to find a way to mount them back on other than buy aftermarket lights. Did you come up with something or just go without?
Thanks
Frasier, I'm an SW1
Are you currently home on base?
my father was a lt in the USN on a AE-12 (USS WRANGEL) back in 1968
he was stationed in Viet Nam.
Yeah Reax, I could definitely be wrong. I thought on the red and maybe yellow, there are the regular posts which are more "robust" and the side terminals are I guess wired for a lower amperage. I have no experience with the blue top.
Also, I just checked the Optima site and can't confirm what I said, so now I don't know where I got that information. It's probably wrong.
The side terminals may be lesser than the top post, but the blue top adds two threaded rods next to the top post. We both could be right.
Toyota Hauler, I'm currently stationed in Gulfport MS. and probally will be here til I retire. My father is retired Army and did a few tours himself in Vietnam. You got a nice truck too, I'm now saving for the lift and tires for mine since i got a big purchase item out of the way. How do you get a signature at the bottom of your post? Thanks
at the top of this forum, as you read the posts, look to the left for USER CP
click it and it will allow you to add your own SIGNATURE at the bottom of every post
Just some info, I got the 07 piaa catalog and they are making a new light that looks incrediable for Superduties. From the picture it looks like it would fit in the space next to winch carrier in the opening of the bumper.
