Bio fuel

The fuel company where I get my fuel for my 97 ps has switched over to all Bio fuel. Is there any concerns about running this fuel?

carry an extra fuel filter the bio fuels can clean the system out and send some junk into the filter and plug it up.

also it does eat rubber, but you have a 97 so you shouldnt have to worry bout it.

i run both my rigs on bio all the time.

What blend? If it's B20 or less you can just stay on your regular filter interval as it takes a while to clean out the system. If you're going to B100 it will be a good idea to carry a spare filter or two, just in case.

From a drivability standpoint there are no concerns other than Bio diesel makes slightly less power than straight #2. It will not harm the engine if that's what you were thinking.

You can also run Diesel Power additive at the ratio noted on the bottle to help with the power loss issue.

Just curious, what is the cost for the Bio from a station? Where are you located?
