New PSD Owner

Hello guys. I am new to the PSD. I just came from an 03 Cobra Mustang to an 06 PSD w/ 5K miles on it. I love this truck. Only put 200 miles on it and I love it. I got it and it already came w/ a 4" exhaust and an Eadge Juice programmer. I just had a few questions. I noticed it doesn't have a CAT. I love the way it sounds. The only thing I have noticed is that at stop lights when it takes off it lets out a puff of white smoke. After that I don't notice anything. Is that normal?? I have seen a few PSD's and they usually blow out black smoke. Is there something wrong or is it b/c it has no CAT? Other than that I love this thing. Please remember Im new to the PSD, so please be nice :)

I pretty much plan on leaving it as is other than maybe a cold air induction that you guys may recommend. Please help a newbie that is in love :) Thxs

Congrats on the new truck, did you run and oasis report before purchase, just curious why someone would mod a truck and then get rid of it with 5k miles on it. I would leave the stock intake on.

Your still under warranty so I wouldn't worry to much and see if it changes. If your concerned talk to your technician and see what his thoughts are. Hard to diagnose from a web page on the white smoke. A little is nothing to worry about.

Hi! Im pretty new to the 6.0 world myself but I do know if you do have an issue with your truck the dealership will not warranty the motor with an aftermarket programmer installed. Even if you try to remove it. It has a memory and the dealer can tell. This may be why the original owner sold the truck. He may have had a problem and tried to have it fixed only to find the dealer said no. Once its flagged on Oasis all dealerships will run your vin and see a voided warranty.

I hope this is not the case but you will want to look into this. Hate to see you have a 5k mile truck with the 100k mile warranty voided.

Otherwise its a fantastic truck. I do enjoy my 6.0.
