Before you call me a whimp I just want to state for the record that I finished my Suspension lift on december 23rd just in time to go see my grandmother. nothing like testing a new suspension and brake system by taking it into the mountains of it's shake down drive!
Does anyone know of a place in or near ottawa that you can rent space to work on your truck?
Like a "garage" only with out the crap that's stoping me from getting my truck into my garage in the first place?
I ask cause there's only a certain amount of shrinkage I'm willing to deal with and it's not getting any warmer outside. I had to scrape Ice off my truck this morning! :-(

Nothing worse then working in the FREEZING cold. One time I had to change a starter in the bucket truck at work in the middle of winter. Not a bad job in the middle of summer (did it then as well) but in the windchill of -15*C it SUCKS!
I also had to replace the front u-joints in my plow truck when it was FREEZING cold. It was supposed to snow that night and I had just finished plowing for over 20 hours. It was not quite as bad because I was working in my Dad's shop but it is not heated or insulated. I was freezing cold and EXTREMELY tired. Not impressed.
So, I agree a heated place would be a good idea. I don't know of any in the Sarnia area so I am not sure they even have them. I have heard they used to exist.
What about renting a place at a Mini-storage that your vehicle will fit in? Not sure if they are heated but I would imagine a space heater would help. Jsut a thought.
Mini storage places will not allow you to work on anything, liability reasons.
Having a garage full of junk is a problem. I know I have had to line the driveway with stuff to fit my truck in the garage and then put it all back when I'm done. Not fun but it beats being outside. I hate the cold !
Having a heated garage is a luxury that I very much appreciate.
