Bad Gps?
ok guys, i went out to the smashed 85, and tried to start her up, at first i was wondering why she would just turn over and over and not start, you all told me it was because there may be air in the fuel lines......but, if i give it a tiny squirt of either before i try to start it, she'll fire right up, now, i dont know to much about the gps, but i start it up, and the light stays on for about 8-10 seconds, and then starts to cycle, i hear it clicking under the hood, is that bad or good, i cant seem to remember...seeing as it fires right up with some either, it seems that the gps just arent doing their job, do they need replacing? Main thing is how fast the starter is turning the engine.....if you can count RPM then its too slow. To test GPs remove the wire from the spade tip and using a test light connected to 12v+ battery power touch the spade tip of the (each) GP, if it lights it's good........
