Swap
Just did that swap mine 77 hi boy diff to 1975 hi boy. as long as the diff is low pinion only thing I had to change was u-joint , my old one was off set Wider one way. if your using late 77 you may have drive shaft issues as there high pinion

You'll need the proportioning valve off the disk donor truck along with the diffrent brake lines to bolt to the calipers. You'll have to re bend those hard lines in a couple places by the valve and a master cylinder and booster swap is recommended.
