Corner strobes

Im putting these in my truck for marker lights when i plow. My brother runs them in his f250 and they work well, plus they look cool.
Anyone else use them or have experience with them ??

I have a 90 watt set, with 9 selectable patterns made by Whelen in my 250 and my father has a 60 watt unit, non-selectable pattern in his 250. I bought the 90 watt unit on Ebay for 200 shipped. It's a really great unit, nice and bright. I haven't heard anything about that specific model, but if it's anything like Whelen's, it's a great product.

Hope this helps,
Tom

Whats the difference in the wattage ? Is it just to drive more strobes ?

brighter light. 10 watt per strobe on the 6 strobe 60 watts. and 15 per on the 6 strobe 90 watt. It really does make a difference. I had the 90 in my last 250 and loved them.

I will only do an install with the lower-wattage (10 watts/outlet) packs if I'm forced to. At a minimum, 15 watts/outlet... generally from a Whelen UPS-690. Even better, if the money is there, is 22.5 watts/outlet from a Whelen ISP-188.
