Seat Replacement

The captain seats on my 1991 3/4 ton are worn out and in need of replacement. The foam has worn through the sides from getting in and out, and the lumbar supports are rather useless. The stitching has broken on the passenger side and there's a 6 inch gap. The originall owner had something in the back that riped big gouges in the rear seat covers. So, clearly they have been used/abused and it time to replace.

I have a 100lbs dog that gets in and out of the truck when he's wet and the truck constantly has guys with fishing waders getting in and out too. The truck has just over 300K miles on it . I've looked at the expensice replacements and I don't think that it's worth it with the kind of wear the seats get. So, if they fit, I'm thinking it would be a good idea to get something from the junk yard. I like the 60/40 split bench seats but don't know what year they started and if the bolt patterns will match up.

Can you guys help me figure out what a good year seat would be for my truck?

Thanks

bart
