Running Boards
My problem is that even though these running boards have never been installed on any other truck before. Unfortunately when they arrived, I found that there were no installation instructions included with them at all!
Although I do not know the name of the company who actually manufactured these running boards. I'm quite certain that I do have all of the correct parts as well as all of the correct hardware needed to install these running boards on my truck.
So now, it looks to me like I'm going to have to hope that there's somebody out there who can provide me with some assistance by sending me out some photos of how they've installed a similar set of running boards on their truck or maybe there might even be someone out there who still has a set of original instructions that will work for my application.
If necessary, I would have no problem at all with sending out some photos of the parts & hardware that I have received, along with some additional photos of my truck via e-mail to anyone who can help me out.
Many thanks in advance to anyone who can provide me with some assistance with this installation project. If any of my previous experiences with requesting assistance in this manner are any indication of what I can expect from you guys. I'm very sure that "as always" I will receive the very best assistance that anyone could ever expect!

They are black painted aluminum
They are 58" long with a flared front piece which I'm sure attaches inside the front wheel well. They are 6" wide, 1/2 of which is ribbed and the other have is non-skid. The inside (upward) lip is 2" high and the outside (downward) lip is 1-1/2" high. The also have a 2" rear plate which is 6" wide.
Of the three main pieces for each side there are two pre-drilled holes in the forward and two in the read end pieces which are 3" apart.
The mounting hardware for each side consists of (2) 4" long
right angle brackets with two w/1-1/2" sides which each have pre drilled holes that have the same 3" distance pattern as the end pieces of the running boards, (1) 3" x 3" right angle bracket with two pre drilled holes on each side which are set 1-1/4" apart and (1) 10" long, slightly curved bracket which has four pre-drilled holes on one end which are set 3/4" apart.
The mounting bolts provided for each side consist of (1) 7/16" bolt which is 3" long (1) 7/16" bolt which is 2-1/2" long and (8) 7/16" bolts which are 1-1/2" long.
That's about all the info I can provide you at this point. I'd really like to be able to tell you that they are the same as yours. My only problem there is that I don't know how long it will take me to find a photo of your truck's running boards that I can use as a realistic comparison. You've got so many photos of your truck posted that I really don't know where to start looking?
I hope this info is of some use to you and I thank you very much for your time and assistance.

Mine are chrome checker plate.
I'll look for a supplier for the aluminium ones.
EDIT:
Do they look like this?

Once you turn 50 you'll find that any little bit of help you can get to ease the pain of climbing into your truck in the mornings will be a much better alternative to receiving a bullet in your head because you can't climb that high anymore!
But . . . .
Then on the other hand, I can certainly understand why you would prefer to have a bullet rather than to have to face the fact that you are unable to drive your truck anymore because your body is no longer able to get you behind the wheel without some kind of assistance.
Personally, considering how much I love to drive my truck! I'll take any form of assistance, anyway that I can get it, just to stay behind the wheel & cruise on down the road!
Otherwise, One thing that I can assure you of, is that when the day arrives that I can no longer drive this truck. I'll have no need to even ask anyone else to do the deed for me! For I'm sure that I'll be able to handle that part of it, without the need of any outside assistance at all!
That's for sure son!

And my step father is getting close to 80 and he gets in out out of his late 80's F250 without no stupid looking running board, seen him do it just yesterday. Some of my cowboy buddies are getting up there too and I don't see no running boards on any of their pickups neither.
What did you do to yourself to mess yourself up so bad so early?
Really, what happened to you? :/
Next thing you'll be telling me you're too old to go lion huntin. ;)
