7.3 Hard Cold start ??

Thanks again RyaneverK2, I will do some looking around this week end and some reading. The door slamming this always bugged me and I figured it was some air vent deal but it does have quite a noticable slam to it.
Will search for a GPR-109 this weekend and hope this is all it is.
In another thread I will seek advice on winter oil viscosity as I have used only Rotella T since new and never any different summer or winter. I am sure there are some additional filters I should be looking to change other then the fuel canister one on top as well.

Just like Ryaneverk2 said. Turn the A/C Heat switch in the off position. The first few times backing out of the garage that damn bang would catch me off guard and I thought I hit one of the kids bikes or something. Drove me crazy the first few weeks. Now I just make sure the switch is in the off position when I turn the truck off - no more bang!
