i been waiting for a big airshow to come around my area so i can show my wife some of the greatest planes in the world, we just missed some this summer because of timeing, but hope will catch some next year.
i never been to a fleetweek, but i heard the one in NYC is great, always heard nothing but good things about it.

And the Blues Angels put on a pretty dam good show.
Tomorrow I'm off to watch the Blue Angels practice their routine.
Less of crowd.

We had an air show here with blue angels just a couple weeks ago. Amazing birds. Since I'm stuck in the city when I'm at school, I didn't even have to go to the show. They were pulling stunts right above our heads.

The Blue Angels put on an incredible show. I saw them perform several times at El Toro MCAS in the 80's. They would come in so low over the parking lot you could clearly see the pilot, then they would pull up to vertical and afterburn 'til they disappeared.

Just got back from watching the Blue Angels practice their routine.
Awesome!
Because of the low ceiling (crappy weather), they weren't able to do their high aerial stunts, but awesome, none the less.
They also had an A10 Warthog do its thing. Also pretty cool.
The Red Bull Air Race Qualifying was fun to watch.
Those pilots are crazy.
And Fat Albert lugging along, doing its thing.
Needless to say, I'm going again tomorrow and Sunday.
Gonna pack a lunch and a few cans of soda, although the soda reads "beer" on the can.
