03 to 05 conversion

i was lookin at the 03 compared to the 05's. to pop an 05 grille into an 03 without buyin a modded grille, could i buy an 05 bumper then use a stock 05 grille? it looked to me that the way they made the grilles bigger in the 05-06 years is the made the bumper cutout a little lower. would an 05 bumper fit into my 03 without problems? let me know! Yes it would work, however, the bottom of the grille wouldn't fasten using the grille fasteners unless you got the 2005 head panel.

I think you laso need to change out the headlight to the '05/'06/'07 models too.

you do not have to change the headlights. you must use a new bumper. the grill will not snap in at the bottom if you keep the old header. you can wire tie it at the bottom like i did on mine. check my gallery lots of pics. its an 01... if you change the header, you must change the headlights becaise the old ones will not bolt in.
