Lancaster County Weeps Today...
On Monday, a senseless, cruel attack took place in an Amish community in Lancaster, Pa.
A man put his daughters on a bus for school, and then went home to prepare to attack other little girls, in a private Amish school, minutes away from his home. The rest of the story you have probably seen on the various national news networks. What I would like to know, is why would someone target the most innocent of people, in a rural community, filled with a population of God loving folks, who want nothing more than to live their lives in a quiet and peaceful way. Obviously, at least one member of that community was some kind of whack job who respected nobody, including himself. Now a half dozen people, including the shooter, lay dead. May God bless the souls of the children, and may God do what he will with the soul of the S.O.B. that did this. I feel horrible for the people involved with this tragedy, and I hope they somehow will find peace, in spite of what has happened to them. I offer my prayers and thoughts to the families. Please let the little ones know that they are loved, every time they leave your sight. Maybe this is something we could all learn something from...

why did he do it there? for the very reasons you listed. He knew those people would be unarmed,very trusting and not expecting anything of the sort. He also knew there wouldn't be any security gaurds because the school wasn't big enough,and he could pull off his cowardly act without resistance. I feel for the family and friends that lost their children to this senseless act.
