Hello All,
Got a 69 Bronco and want to replace manual 3 speed to a C4 automatic. Has anyone used the swap kit from one of the sponsors on this site. I'm refering to the one that comes with a re-buildable core. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Which kit are your refering to? I think Advance adapters is the only company making the correct parts to adapt a C4 to fit. So these are the same from whoever you purchase from. It includes the transfer case adapter and output shaft. Parts were only used on early Broncos so a little hard to find OEM and no longer offered from Ford. C4 trannys are still plentiful. Really cheap and easy to rebuild too. Just need to find one with fill tube screwed into right side of pan. Mainly used in trucks and vans.
