PS/PDB Conversion on 66 F100
I have completed and road tested the conversion to power steering and power disk brakes on my 66 F100. Disks and drums were resurfaced, new shoes and pads, and brake hoses installed. I replaced all bearings, seals, tie rods and the steering drag link. Installed drive pulleys, PS pump cooler and hoses. The technical article on this web page was extremely helpful as was all the additional advice I sought from the experts in this forum. Initially the Truck was difficult to control and the brakes were good but with a low pedal. I added 4 rounds of toe and now I can safely drive it to the alignment shop. Brakes are still a little low. I will work on that. This was a straight forward conversion and absolutely worth the effort. Thanks again for your help!

I'd like to offer congrats to you for the completion. I hope everything goes well for the minor adjustments, and you feel completely safe and happy, and you get a huge testosterone rush when you peel it out of the driveway.
