I'm looking at buying a gauge pillar mount for my tranny temp guage and found one, but it's for the 250/350. I know there are lot of similarities between the 250/350 and Ex, but are the interior component also interchangeable? Since the mount I'm looking at is specially formed to fit, I want to make sure it will.
Yes, it'll fit but make sure of the year. I cannot remember exactly but maybe in 03? they added a handle to the pillar of the Super Duty/Excursion, Make sure you take that into account.

Thanks - I don't have the handle and I'm looking at a single, short pod, so it shouldn't matter.
If you tow hard enough to get the trans hot then you might want to consider a Pyro and boost gauge as well. You'd be surprised at how hot a stock truck can get with a trailer behind it!! Call us if you have any questions we have the Auto Meter gauges and mounts, Isspro and DiPricol gauges etc and all the install parts and color matching paints too!
