Question Diesel performance shops

Any body know of any good diesel performance shops in the northern nj , rockland county ny, or orange county ny area? There is one near me but they want 1200 bucks to hook up the 3 autometer pilar guages. (including guages) I thought that was kinda high. They said it was about 8 hours for to do it. So if anybody out there can reccommend a place to check out please let me now so i can shop around a little. Thanks Jeff

You can get a set of gauges all wired up and ready to be put in for 300. They are real easy to put in. check the site sponsors. All you have to do is put one tee in your map line, tap one hole, and the hole for the tranny is alrady there.

8 hours for a professional mechanic? Sheesh!

A rookie could do it in 3 hours.

Garrett at Puredieselpower.com can hook you up with a set that is already pre-assembled and the install instructions are step-by-step. Very simple mod, despite the money you will save, you will feel alot better doing it yourself too.

8 hrs???? For $1200, I could fly down there and do it for you with a little left over for dinner. Does it include the hooker and crack they will keep you entertained with while waiting????

I was quoted $600 to do mine also. Not very hard to install yourself.

I took 5 hrs to do mine. However, I don't believe they will do quality work for that 8 hrs. I soldered my joints and measured it all out. Soldered and heat shrinked the links. NO butt connectors or those quickie joints.
