Christmas Party
Just wanting some thoughts on a Christmas party this year. We talked about it a little bit at the Barrons Pizza GTG. Rollie contacted me about going up to Alma again. Said we were welcome again this year. I thought maybe we could use club funds to buy a Turkey and a ham then folks could bring a covered dish or something. Chad has offered in the past to see if we could use the Club House at his apartment complex or we could try to have it at my place. Or if someone know of another place we could have it please post. Chad said he like the room we had a Barron's Pizza a lot. I most likely left a bunch of stuff out. Please post up some ideas. We should get started on this soon.

Just for those that haven't gone in the past the spread they put on in Alma is wonderful. It was what $20-$25 a person? (absulutely worth it) Barron's Pizza (wichita) had a great room painted like Italy and they have more then pizza - a full Italian menu... good cheap food. I would like to see it held someplace where we can all visit for awhile, but I'm open for anything. Let's get talking.. I would love to have it early, (9th?) that way more people can make it. Let's get some ideas out there and get rollin'.

I know about that. What I wanted was input from folks on this site. How about it folks. Carl, Cory, Tony M, Angelia, Mike, Lynn, Duane, Jeff, ect.......... Let us know what you guys want to do.

I would really like to see it held in wichita this year since my scedule don't allow for much "recreational travel" lol. I like the idea of the clubhouse over at Chad's place if that all works out with him

I think best would be inbetween everyone that way no one can say i drove this far or i didnt have to drive at all. An idea would be in Emporia at some decent resturant. Thats my opinion but like everyones says just a thought!!

Good info folks. Lets keep the input comming. I'll most likely wait till next week to do the poll. Chad is out of town and when he gets back I want to get with him and check on the club house. And it'll give folks a bit more time to post.

I'm up for about anywhere although kinda like Duane, the closer to Wichita the easier it is for me. Our young'un's due sometime toward the end of this month, plus work is getting busy, and I'm not sure how far from home I want to get. Most likely anywhere except here in Wichita, I'll be looking for a ride with someone.

Anyone else? I want to know what you folks want to do. This is your Christmas party and I want to do what I can to get the most folks to attend. If your an FTE user in the KS area please post. We have some good ideas. Rollie has offered to take care of us again this year up at Alma. Chad had offered in the past to let us use the Club House at his apt. complex. I can have folks over to my place. It has been suggested that we go to Barrons Pizza again. We could even combine a few of these. If folks don't want to bother with a covered dish event we could see about going to Barron's and then to the Club House or my house.
If you like any of the suggested ideas please post up. If you have another idea we really do need it. Who knows others may think it's the best yet.

Hate to put a damper on things, but if I move to Newton first of November I won't have the clubhouse... Anyone thought about Salina, Abeline, Manhaattan, Emporia ... ? Alma is a fair peice from Wichita, but the food was great!!
