I purchased a '03 Navigator (ultimate) with the factory 18" chrome wheels. After detailing the vehicle the wheels have spots on them. They look like water spots but to me it appears the finish is not holding up to the elements. The vehicle has only 19,000 miles on it. It clearly was well maintained as it in immaculate condition.
I took it to the dealership to fix a couple other items (rear door seal) and asked the service writer if the wheels were covered. Lincoln has a 5 year unlimited mileage Corrosion coverage and a 4 year 50,000 mile bumper to bumper.
Am I expected for the factory wheel finish no last past 19,000 miles? When I picked up the vehilce they said "your paper work is not ready" we will mail it to you.... What's going on here? Why would they mail me the paper work? That was a week ago and no paper work from the service department...
