instrument cluster swap

I was wondering if a cluster out of a 94 Explorer will work in my 92 F250. The explorer has a tach, which I would really like.

No, but any tach from a 92 to 96 F-series or Bronco will work.

andy beat me to the answer, but i will add, sell the explorer gauges on ebay and than buy the bronco or f150 with tach.

Its not that easy .Get one with the same year as yours,(93 93) They will physically fit but they changed them after that ie. wiring,abs,air bag. ect.. Do a search on what years will fit was one month or so ago that stated the differences and what year will fit what. Believe it is 92-93 ,94-some95 and 96- 97 But don't quote me on this. Good luck
