plastic bag in ac vent

a buddy of mine has a 97 psd. while driving he had a plastic bag suck-up the vent by the heater core. the bag has completely disappeared and has stopped all air flow thru the vents. what would be the best way to remove the bag.

drop the front of the glovebox--look straight back--see the plate with about 10 bolts--remove it--then can see the heater core--drain coolant--and remove heater core--should be able to get at plastic bag--and if you decide to replace the heater core--dont buy cheapo--leaks aint funny--and some report them leaking a few months later---

Maybe a set of mechanical fingers can grab the bag. Removing the heater core can be a PITA.
