snow runner

HI ALL : was looking for things to do during the winter and ran across a snow runner. anybody have input on these.looks like fun. how fast are they at a higher elevation. about 6000 feet. in colorado here and don't want to buy something that won't work well.what's your guys experience with these. been looking for one for a reasonably price and in good shape. do they make anything like this now ?. a 2006 model or something ?. a different company ?. i know their are snowmobilers on this site. what do you guys think.let me know. thanks...jozee

I'm pretty big into sleddin but im not sure I know of a snow runner .... is it a brand? or are you talking about snow mobilkes in general?

hello : chrysler was making them from about 78 to 81 i think.was called the chrysler sno runner. was looking for something to do on the less expensive side.then i saw these....joezee

If it's anything like thiere outboard motors, I'd stay FAR FAR away from them.

If you're looking for a cheap snowobile, 10 year old ones could be had for 500-1500
