f550 king ranch

Does anyone know if it is possible to get a regular cab f550 in a king ranch? A few people have told me that you can and some dealers tell me that you cant. Anyone know for a fact? thanks

I'm pretty sure that the KR only comes from the factory in a crew-cab config. That, and I think it is only available on the 250-350 models.

The "catalog" that I have for the 2006 450/550 trucks only lists XL, XLT and Lariats.

Can't even do a Lariat in a regular cab.

you can get a regular cab lariat from 99-04, but i dont know aout the rest.

For your information the high end std cab in 02 was an xlt. I tried to get the highest end standard cab f350 in late 02 production and found out ford offers the xlt as the highest option then. Lariet std cab was dropped around 00 or 01. What I cant figure out is why ford doesnt offer the hd or kr packages in a std cab. Surely the parts are all the same from the parts bins, and the std cabs are an industry standard ever since pickup trucks were first made. Ford would never drop the std cab simply because its the heart of the work fleet for industry and companys.
