Front Axel Problems

My truck has a little bit of lift. I think that the torsionbars are cranked. Anyways, it makes my CV boots rip because of the extreme angle, causing the need to replace the CV axels. I heard there was a shim kit to lower the front axel a little bit, this would probably solve the problem. If anyone has any experience or knowledge of this kit it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

cranking the torsion bars untill they bottom out will not cause the boots to rip. unless they are old a brittle--- look for other problem.

It takes a bit of driving for them to give out. I did some brodies in the mud and I think it tore em up too. They last for around 3 months then I notice the boots are ripped. Ive chaned them like 3 times already. Im really looking for this shim kit I heard about that lowers the front axel making the CVs sit normal.
