I have a 73 Ranger XLT (F350). my Grandfather had a 79 Ranger which he pased to my dad which then became mine,However the body was in bad shape so we picked up a 73 ranger from South Carolina and put the 73 body onto the 79 chasis.Painted the body and shined up the upper chrome. Im missing some of the lower 73 molding and was wondering if anybody knows where i would be able to purchase any.Ive looked through many catalouges and my online search did not do so good. Any help would be greatly apreciated.
AutoKrafters (an FTE sponser!) has them in their catalogue. They're called "lower mouldings" or "rocker mouldings" or "lower rocker mouldings". It's on page 28 of their 73 to 79 F series catalogue.
For this kind of shiney stuff looking at the wreckers is kind of pointless, anything in the junkyards is going to be in worse shape than what you already have.
Man that truck is gorgeous. You should be proud. I wish mine looked like that. The body lines are straight. Wow! Did it cost alot to put it in that condition? Can you post your build specs please, I would love to know! Thanks
