Don't get sticker shock at the parts store, for some reason all heater fan motors are expensive >100.00 new, 60.00 + used. Mid fifty's price is not out of line.
Hope it's not too late, I went to the local parts house and they looked it up in an old book. Had both 6 and 12 volt in stock. I believe I paid $42 for the 12 volt. I'll see if I can find the part number, if you still need it.
Also, for what it's worth, I installed the motor from a '79 Econoline in a 53-55 heater box once; had to enlarge the hole an inch or so, but that was easy enough.
I bought it in Gainsville, GA at a local parts house called "Slack Auto Parts" (no pun intended, because they certainly aren't) The part number is C/T35576 and it was actually 39.99 for the 12 volt. The phone number is 770-535-6000.
Good Luck!
Doug

Thanks James.
The one that I bought fit right into the housing on the existing heater and has been warming my cab for a few weeks now.
