Fuel filter and fuel flow
Does anybody know the size, micron of the fuel filter? I was told the pump needs a 5 micron filter. Also does anybody know how much fuel flow the 6.9 liter nonturbo needs?

Factory filters are 10 Micron. I have switched my trucks to 2 micron Racor filters as I believe you are going to significantly reduce your IP and injector life by filtering at 10 microns.
Fuel flow should match that of a Racor R45S filter as a minimum. You can also go to a R60S (long cartridge) to extend filter life and filtering capacity.
