Spent the weekend at our favorite wheeling park. Tested out the wristed radius arm, twin stick and front mini-spool. All worked well (for the most part) until I busted both front axle shafts. Luckily, I busted only what I brought for spares. How often does THAT happen?
Yeah, I think the one cap on the long shaft let loose first, then when the front end came off the ground and slammed back down with the wheels spinning, that snapped the spline end off and cut the ear.
The short outer was from the driver's side which busted doing the same thing in another part of the trail.
That was this past weekend while we were up there. I'm not an EB guy, but my wheeling buddies are. Cool event. I guess they shot lots of vids and showed them on a big screen at night. Someone said they saw where I busted my shafts in one of the vids. I haven't seen it though. Hoping they put some on the web.
