Is there any way to get the heater vent door (the one that allows hot air across the heater coil for the heater) to stay open, getting cold enough around here for now to keep it open. The heater control cable seems to open the acces in the cab, but still no heat. what else should I be looking at to get some heat into my truck in the mornings. I have looked at the vacuum lines but everything seems to work. not too sure with them tho. it doesn't help that the book that i have doesn't seem to really show anything except how to remove it and replace it. doesn't give much help on troubleshooting it. thinking about ordering the manual on cd from ebay. unless there is a local place that usually sells it.
