These seats came out of an 80's Suburu car. I made a frame out of some 1" square tube and welded the seat's slider brackets to it. I have a console between them now. Since my fuel gauge doesnt work anymore, its really convienent to reach next to me and pound on the tank to hear how hollow it is
You can pretty much use ANY bucket seats you want, its really all about personal preferance. I used the Suburu seats because they were free, and there is no markings on them that say they're from a japanese car

These seats are from a Mitsubishi Eclipse (proto type) that I used two sets of stock bench seat sliders (one set on each seat) and some angle iron and square box tubing for the brackets. both seats are adjustable just as the factory bench seat was.
The floor mounted dimmer is awesome, but you know its old when the starter switch is right next to it
After I put my bucket seats in the truck it DID feel like something was missing with the bench gone, but I got used to it. I have alot more room in my cab with the bench gone, and the buckets are alot more comfortable.
I don't mind the bench but I've got a B&M proratchet I'm using and kinda need a place to mount it. I am wanting to do some period correct buckets with a consol. Maybe some stuff out of a bronco might do what I want.
