Hello,
New to the Ford truck ownership. Anyway, I recently came into a '65 F100. I was wondering if I could get some guidance. While the sides, front, and tailgate have only a small amount of surface rust, the main section fo bed and some of the supports are whacked. I think I have a couple of options:
1. Replace in kind. (find new/salvaged supports ... what other years might fit? Use Al Diamondplate as a bed.)
2. Build my own supports.
I have little experience with this sort of thing, but do have access to a HVAC contractors sheet metal shop.
Thanks.

Shawn, A 64-66 bed will bolt up. If you decide to rebuild, you can replace the supports, and bed floor. After the floor is replaced, you can have it coated with a rhino liner and it will look OK.
Good Luck,
John

In the still cool hours of the night, you can hear chevys rusting away.
