Hi I'm Shawn and i new to the forum. I recently bought a 1990 F-350 dually and I didn't have the truck for more then a day and the marker lights in the fenders went out. I had to pull the harness down from the frame and bed to find out that the white with a red stripe wire had chafed on the frame and can't follew it to see where it goes. So i was wondering if anyone had the wiring diagram of the truck or just knows where that wire connects to? Thanks in advance
I am diffidently going to check that, but I forgot to mention that the clearance, front and rear parking lights still work. I know i could just cut and splice into a hot running light wire but I would like to fix before i have to rig something up.
went out and bought a Haynes book and it still didn't help to much. lol. it only had a chassis diagram for the 86 model year and its weird because i think the truck has a tow package so it has factory wires for the stop, tail, and turn. which the fender lights are apart for that harness. I know I could just splice into the wires that still work for the trucks tail lights but i would like that to be a last resort.
Just went through all of this and rewired the entire back of the truck. I would make sure to check that you have power to that part of the harness. there is the main harness in the rear of the truck that has all the marker lights and tailights included in it.I'm assuming thats what u took out. Make sure u have power to the main connection in the back and then check power to the disconnect in the rear quarter. Hopefully this makes some sense.
