I just bought this 1965 White Truck Camper with a 360, alrready rebuilt with 30k. Can anyone tell what I can do to the engine, mufflers, manifolds, etc. to make it "mo betta?" Thanks, am new to this.
Please just add to your old posts, especially if they are within the same hour. This is the third post I see from you, all concerning basically the same thing. You could be in 'time-out' (according to John! :-) )

Quite a bit can be done - depends on how much you want to spend. Edelbrock manifold, Holley or Edelbrock/Carter 600 cfm carbs, dual exhaust, ignition upgrades like a MSD coil and multispark ignition and many cam options. Porting/polishing the heads. Turbo/super charging. Upgrade to a 390. For specifics we will need to know what your intentions are - is this a daily driver? Only used to pull a boat/trailer? Going to race it?
I don't necessarily want to "Hot Rod" the vehicle,
But a finely tuned v-8, some disc brakes (is that possible?), I have a dual muffler which I imagine helps performance- quieting it down would be good, and any other fine tuning I could do to make it a quasi- daily runner and safe backup when my van is down, is what I'm after.
