Rear ABS light?

Rear ABS light?

The "rear ABS" light in my 1990 F-150 is on and I was just wondering how I would go about figuring out what the problem is. Other than the light being on everything seems to work fine, do the ABS lights flash codes like the check engine lights do, and how can I read the codes?

Replace or clean the abs sencer located on rearend abount $15.00 at nappa

Yes, the ABS system will blink codes just like the engine computer will. The only problem is that the ABS does not have any memory, so the light has to be on to register codes; it resets each time the key is turned off. It sounds like you don't have a problem getting the light to come on though. This link was posted a while back, so maybe you'll find it helpful:
