E40D shifts too quickly.
I'm having a problem with the E40D tranny in a 1990 F-150. When its cold it seems to shift OK, not great, but after it gets warmed up it shifts so fast that it bogs the motor right down. It has a 351. When you pull away from corners it shifts right through the gears at under 2500rpm, it seems to get right into overdrive leaving me at about 30mph and 1500rpms with no power. If I turn overdrive off it helps a little, but if I need to pull out in traffic or pass someone I have to shift it manually by the column shifter to get the R's up. Anything I should look for? Maybe some sensor malfunctioning?
Also wanted to mention that the rear ABS light is on, don't know if that has anything to do with it, also the speedometer seems to work fine.
