yep, thats what i am looking for! They come in vinyl, steel, diamond plate and everything else.my1961 4wd gets used every day as a work truck maybe someone has found something that would fit from a newer model.thanks!
Dave, DeeZee makes checkerplate aluminum bed caps for'73-'79 trucks. Willmore also makes Stainless bed caps for that same application, I have a set on my truck and they look and fit very good. Ned, i believe there was a post on this about a week ago and I have looked through the majority of my suppliers catalogues and have found nothing for your body style. :-( One option you may want to look at is having the topsides of your rails sprayed with spray-in boxliner. Any spray-in boxliner dealer should be able to do this for you for about the cost of bed caps and it will be just as durable. just a thought. :-)
[font color=red size=3]Another option, you might check with a metal worker or welding shop, see if they can get some aluminum and make you some. It's just a long strip with a 90deg bend on one side (they have machines that do that perfectly) and a shallower bend on the other.
I used to work at a welding shop with metal fabrication equipment, we made a set out of steel diamond plate and then painted them (aluminum would be better IMO).
