Just looking for a little help. I am in need of new tires and would like to get something with more of an offroad look without putting a lift on my truck. Right now I have Wrangler 265 70/17. Any opinions on th Kumho 285 70/17? I'm try to keep the price down otherwise I would probably get the 17" KO's. Any ideas or opinions would be great. TONY
All the kumhos I have seen got really good traction, looked really good, were really well priced, but didnt last overly long. I would go for them I had a set of kumhos on my old 89 f150 4x4 and they were all around good!
I have a tire question. I am looking at the Dueler A/T Revos. The price with them installed/aligment/warranty is $724 from Firestone. Is this a fair price?
Also the tires have a 50,000 mile warranty on them. Does anyone know what this cover? Because, Firestone was trying to sell me their warranty for an extra $90.
It only covers like a broken belt. No road hazzards.
I like the BFG Long Trail T/A's myself. They look good and last a long time. I have about 36,000 miles on mine and they still have 1/2 tread left. Sam's club has a good price on them.

I was really aching to get those same tires but a fellow at a local 4x4 shop said the duellers don't do so well on icey roads, and since I live in Canada I thought I would opt for the BF's instead. The Hanooks do sound like a heck of a deal though, I might gives those a closer look.
I have Pathfinder Trail A/P on my 97 F150. Already put about 1200 miles on them and they do really well in rain. Haven't gone off road with them. I did go down a dirt road and put it 4wd and hit the gas and they didn't even break free.

Sounds like a good price to me. My friend works at Firestone, and he got me my tires mounted/balanced for $725 after taxes and with the extra warranty.
