Can anyone give me some insight on these toyo open country tires ? They were recommended by a friend, but i have never really heard anything good or bad about them. I was going to put them on my wifes grand cherokee. http://www.toyoeditor.com/m410.html
Thanks all.
I have run them on my 98 F150 and my F350 duallys. Great traction and good tread wear. All around a very good tire. I ran across a website the other night I found helpful with regard to tires. It is www.1010tires.com I gives reviews for alot of major tire brands (including Toyo) and their different types of tires. Might check it out.
I put them on my wife's Grand Cherokee. The Goodyears that came on the car new were worn out in 25k mi. (All mountain driving.) The Toyos went over 40k and the performance was excellent. No flats, no wobbles, no funny wear patterns and good traction, low noise.
I had toyo's on my F350 and when I traded for the new truck. they had 30,000 miles on them and still had half the tread left. they were the 285 75 16 tires never could find them short whether I was in mud, sand or snow. As soon as the new tires on my new truck need to be replaced i am putting the 275 60 20 toyo's on the new truck and hope they wear as good as the others.
Thanks for all the input guys !. I put the toyo at's on my wifes 2002 grand cherokee this morning. The goodyears that were the oems were making noise like the had a broken belt in one of the tires, and at 40000 miles the tread was almost gone. Thats all i need is for her to wreck another vehicle !!
