A friend spotted this out near Loveland, Colorado (north of Denver a bit).
That's a first for me. I have seen and I also have shortbed crew with a stepside. But I have never seen a longbed crew stepside. It's ugly and I love it. It sure looks like a old state vehicle.
I came across this by doing a search for bed strips. I like the stepside long bed and crew cab combo. It should haul what you need, ride good, and look good doing it.
They made those beasts at Ford's factory, my friends dad purchased a used 69 CC utility step 8' from Western Pacific Railroad in 71. I had to have something like it and purchased a 69 F-250 8' Utility Step in 72.
The CC turns within a football field, not a downtown S.F. traffic vehicle not alone a parking stall vehicle.
