Flasher
The turn signal on my 2001 Ranger is driving me crazy. All of the bulbs are fine, yet the turn signal is flashing at a ridiculously fast pace.
Assuming that the Ranger used a standard flasher, I was simply going to replace my current flasher, with another one. Yet, I found out that the Ranger uses a more sophisticated flasher design, which some say can be adjusted?
Anyone know if this is so, or would replacing the flasher be my best bet? Also, do I have to remove any trim panels, or is the flasher accessible from underneath the dash?

Is it fast when you turn it both right and left? If yes then I'd try a flasher.
If no, and you say the bulbs are "fine", I am assuming you mean they visably flash from the outside; did you replace one recently? (may be wrong number, which could do that).
The flasher is normally around the fuse box, (I believe under the drivers dash, but I don't have a 2001).
